Manchester Islamic High School for Girls is a high achieving independent all girls Islamic secondary school catering for the 11-16 age range in central Manchester. The school has been running for over 20 years, under the Manchester Islamic Education Trust in co-ordination with Manchester Muslim Preparatory School and Kassim Darwish Grammar School for Boys.
Alhamdulillah, through the grace and blessings of Allah, the school has an excellent record of success. Pupils leave MIHSG and attend college, University and the world of employment, meeting the needs for their local community. Pupils from MIHSG have gone on to study at The University of Manchester, Liverpool University, King’s College London, Oxford University, Durham University and many more. Pupils choose a variety of career paths, including: Teaching; Accountancy; Medicine; Law, Social Work; Psychology; Business Studies and ample more.
We believe that we at MIHSG provide the girls with the best balance of Islamic and academic education to allow them to be successful in the akhirah as well as the dunya. Pupils at MIHSG develop into strong, independent Muslim women who are confident in living in Britain with their Muslim identity.
