Alhamdulillah, through the grace of Allah along with the support of the parents and the local community, Manchester Islamic High School for Girls has been able to make great strides over the past 20 years.
We at MIHSG believe that a strong relationship between the school and the parents is the key to success. We understand and appreciate that we both want the best for our daughters, therefore by giving parents a platform and a voice we are able to work together.
Parents are welcome to visit the school and speak to their daughters teachers. Every year group will have at least one parents evening a year, in Year 10 there is an additional Consultation Evening to discuss the GCSE options your daughter is taking and parents of daughters in Year 9 have the opportunity to also attend an Options Evening.
In addition, the PTFA has also been set up to help support the school. If you are interested in joining the PTFA please do not hesitate to contact the school at firstname.lastname@example.org or the Head of the PTFA Sister Farhat Javid.
Information regarding MIHSG safeguarding practices is available to download here. This informs parents of the procedures in place at MIHSG to ensure your daughter is safe.
